Frequently asked questions
What is the design process?
Guestbooks and fingerprint trees are original artworks and custom-made with the buyers unique lettering / phrasing. Allow 3-5 days for production.
To ensure that you are completely satisfied with your fingerprint tree I will send you a photo of the finished piece for your approval before shipping. This proof will be sent through the internal Etsy message system NOT via email. Please respond with feedback within 24 hours. In the event I do not receive a reply I will ship after 24 hours of first contact to avoid delays.
I take a lot of pride in my work & like to display all the possibilities available to buyers. Therefore I reserve the right to display images of your project. Please let me know if you would prefer this not to occur.
What size guestbook should I choose?
I offer three different sizes to cater to all gatherings.
11" x 14" is perfect for smaller groups of up to 50 guests
16" x 20" for up to 150 guests
18" x 24" for up to 250 guests
My artwork is created in dimensions to suit standard frame size for ease when framing.
Do you offer custom designs?
I love creating unique, one-off pieces.
To ensure that you are completely satisfied with your piece I create a 'proof' and then send you a photo for your approval before completing the final artwork. This proof will be sent through the internal Etsy message system. I'm happy to make adjustments however after three proofs additional charges may be incurred for further design changes
Due to the extra time & creativity that I invest in custom orders, I do charge a higher fee. Please contact me to request a quote.

What is your production time?
All fingerprint guestbooks are made to order. Therefore allow 3-5 days for production time.
Digital design proofs will be sent within 3-5 days of the order being placed and payment received.
If a reply is not received within 24 hours, I will ship in order to avoid delays.
Do to the unique nature of custom orders, I may require more time. Please contact me and we can discuss price and production time specific to your request.
What materials do you use?
I use acid free paper and artist quality paints.
I recommend buyers purchase acid free pens (no sharpies!) and ink pads for their guests to use in order to avoid fading over time.
